Attorney Tarek Aleem is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley and the University of California, Davis School of law. Following law school, Tarek clerked for the Honorable Juan Torruella of the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. He has extensive litigation and appellate advocacy experience, having handled several thousand tort claims, including various discrimination claims, throughout Georgia and Massachusetts. In October of 2013, Attorney Tarek obtained a $1.57 million jury verdict, in Cobb County, Georgia, against a leading construction company. Following Weil Gotshal, attorney Aleem served as the general counsel of Nue Medical Consulting, Inc., where he was responsible for identifying and overseeing key legal issues involving, corporate governance, employment law, and compliance with various federal and state healthcare laws and regulations.

As an associate with the firm, Anthony’s legal practice primarily focuses on general liability claims, as well as class-action lawsuits and corporate law. Anthony received his Juris Doctorate in 2014 from Stetson University College of Law and is a member of the Georgia Bar Association. He has served on the Ethics and Leadership committee of the Young Lawyers Division of the Georgia Bar. Anthony received his Masters in Business Administration with a Finance concentration in 2014 where he graduated summa cum laude and his undergraduate Finance degree in 2011 where he graduated magna cum laude from the University of Georgia.
Anthony began his legal career in 2014 working for King & Spalding, LLP in the Atlanta office where he worked in the Mass Tort & Environmental Practice Group for four years. At King & Spalding, Anthony worked on cases for a multitude of Fortune 500 companies and quickly learned the inner workings of large-scale litigation from beginning to end. While in law school, Anthony has served as an in-house counsel intern at the Jabil Corporation in Saint Petersburg, Florida and at the NCR Corporation in Atlanta, GA.
